Although semi-retired, Bruce Newmark was most recently Chief Advisor to Vroom Automotive and United Auto Credit in January of 2023.  He has also been writing a monthly column for Auto Finance News named “Off the LOT’ as well as consulting to industry clients.  

He originally joined UACC in 2016 and has served in multiple roles and was named Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer from April 2017 until his current assignment January, 2023.   

Prior to joining UACC he consulted for several finance industry related firms. 

In 2007 Mr. Newmark joined MarkOne Financial and built 3 regional finance entities under MarkOne Holdings.  He was subsequently named President and CEO of MarkOne Holdings. 

From 1998-2007 Mr. Newmark was with Westlake Financial Services and held positions from National Marketing Director to President working with the team that grew a local finance company into a national Company.  Westlake is part of the Hankey Automotive Group. 

Bruce Newmark joined the Hankey Automotive Group in 1992 and moved to Westlake from the Automotive Division in 1998. 

Prior to joining Westlake, Mr. Newmark had extensive experience working in the automotive and finance industry. His past experience included Inglewood Thrift & Loan, certificates from Ford Marketing Institute, the Walker-Buerge Automotive Group, and a partnership in Ed Butts Ford & Fair City Ford. He was also the V.P., General Manager at Midway Ford in Los Angeles, CA from 1992-1996 (Midway is a member of the Hankey Automotive Group).
