Mercedes-Benz Financial Services CRO Carpenter joins Auto Finance Summit 2025

Carpenter is a 27-year veteran with the automaker and started her career on the accounts payable team before climbing the ladder to attain several leadership roles on the risk team, according her LinkedIn profile.

Outstandings at Mercedes-Benz’s captive finance arm, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS), were $29 billion at yearend 2024, according to the latest Big Wheels Rankings data. MBFS was ranked the 16th-largest auto lender by outstandings in 2024.
In the first quarter, Mercedes-Benz Mobility’s total contract volume climbed 0.7% year over year to 133.7 billion euros ($155.9 billion), according to the captive’s Q1 earnings release. At the end of the second quarter, global sales sat at 453,700 units, down 9% YoY, and U.S. sales dropped 12% YoY, according to a July 7 earnings release.
Carpenter will join other leaders in the auto risk management space on Friday, Oct. 17, at 10:45 a.m. local time to discuss best practices for fighting fraud, prevention and current schemes.
