Vervent’s Lou Geibel to join Auto Finance Capital Summit

Geibel will participate in the “Trust but verify: Trustees and title verification after Tricolor” discussion on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. CT to discuss double-pledging, compliance guidelines, risk management best practices and avoiding credit failures following Tricolor’s bankruptcy.
Vervent is the servicer for Tricolor’s defaulted loan portfolio, which issued more than $2.2 billion in asset-backed securitization (ABS) deals since November 2018, according to CreditFlow, which monitors securities. Vervent has also taken over the sales of Tricolor’s 9,500 remaining vehicles.
Geibel has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services and leads Vervent’s Primary Servicing and Capital Markets organizations, a role he’s held for nearly six years.
Prior to joining Vervent, Geibel was senior vice president and chief trust officer at WSFS Bank and president of Delaware trust services firm Christiana Trust.
