AutoNation Finance President Jeffrey Butler to join Auto Finance Summit East 2026
Auto Finance News is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Butler, president at AutoNation Finance, will join an executive dialogue on the next era in auto finance at Auto Finance Summit East, taking place May 11-13 at JW Marriott Nashville.

Butler will discuss inflation, squeezed credit markets and affordability concerns in a session titled “Executive dialogue on strategies for the next era in auto finance,”
set for Tuesday, May 12, at 9:45 a.m. local time.
Panelists joining Butler include:
- Annie Fallows, executive vice president at Capital One;
- Duane Freeman, senior vice president and client direct sales executive at Bank of America; and
- Laurinda Rainey, managing director and head of consumer and digital channels at Chase Auto.
AutoNation Finance’s originations rose 66% year over year to $400 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to the company’s most recent earnings release. The captive’s outstandings also grew 100.2% YoY to $2.2 billion as of yearend 2025.
The captive completed its first full year of profitability in 2025, and its market share landed at about 14%, according to the release. Finance and insurance revenue also rose 0.9% YoY to $369.4 million in Q4.
Butler, who was named president in 2017, has more than 32 years of experience in financial services in underwriting and sales manager positions across CIG Financial, GM Financial and several regional lenders.
