Horsepower’s Middendorf to join Powersports Finance Summit

Powersports Finance News is pleased to announce that Laura Middendorf, chief financial officer at Horsepower Financial Services, will join a dealer-focused discussion at Powersports Finance Summit 2026, which will take place Sept. 16-17 at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel. 

Middendorf will participate in the “Voice of the dealer: Addressing rising costs, supply dynamics, and financing needs” panel at 3:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 16. 

The panel will examine rising inventory carrying costs, aging units and tighter dealer margins.  

Panelists also will discuss differences among the motorcycle, marine and recreational vehicle segments, along with challenges involving F&I productivity, regulatory requirements and technology integration.

Middendorf joined Horsepower as CFO in November 2020. In addition to overseeing the company’s financial performance, she provides leadership across underwriting, collections and operations. 

Middendorf is a certified public accountant and has spent 15 years working in the cash- and credit-constrained consumer sector. She previously was CFO at Smartpay Leasing.
