Auto Finance News is pleased to announce that Theresa O’Neill, managing director and head of ABS strategy at Bank of America Securities, will host a presentation on the divide in consumer credit at the inaugural Auto Finance Capital Summit, taking place May 11-12 at JW Mariott in Nashville, Tenn. 

The presentation, “Affordability, Inflation and the Consumer Credit Divide,” will take place at 1:30 p.m. local time on Monday, May 11.

• Differences in borrower risk by generation; 

• Income and affordability; 

• Delinquencies across vintages; and  

• The capital impact of loan terms. 

O’Neill leads a team that conducts analysis for consumer and commercial sectors in the asset-backed securitization market. She previously managed asset-backed and non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities portfolios for MetLife. For more than 15 years, she has been among the top three ABS strategists in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) Fixed Income Research Survey.

Bank of America in 2024 was the 10th-largest auto lender by outstandings, according to the latest Big Wheels Rankings data. Its auto outstandings in Q4 2025 sat at $55.3 billion, up 0.7% year over year, according to its earnings supplement.
