America’s Car-Mart’s Doug Turner to speak at Auto Finance Summit East 2026

Auto Finance News is pleased to announce that Doug Turner, senior director of acquisitions and remarketing at America’s Car-Mart, will join a session at Auto Finance Summit East 2026, taking place May 11-13 at the JW Marriott Nashville. 

Turner will speak at 4:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 12, during a session on “Navigating fluctuating used-vehicle values and recoveries.” He will discuss: 

  • Forecasting used-vehicle values through yearend, by segment; 
  • Tips for managing vehicle exposure in your portfolio; and 
  • Updates on incentive spending, lease penetration and inventories.

Turner’s automotive career span 27 years in tire sales, operations and remarketing. He joined America’s CarMart in January 2024 after 24 years at J.D. Byrider. He leads the company’s transportation remarketing efforts and is chairperson of the Automotive Remarketing Alliance. 

America’s Car-Mart had total collections of $179 million, up 1.5% year over year, for its fiscal 2026 third quarter ended Jan. 31, according to the company’s March 12 earnings release.
