Help shape the conversation at 2023 Auto Finance Summit

The Auto Finance News team is calling on subscribers and Auto Finance Summit 2023 attendees to help shape the discussion during Session 3 of the summit taking place Oct. 30, at 11:40 a.m. PT at the Bellagio Las Vegas.

AFN subscribers and summit attendees can contribute to the discussion by participating in a brief, six-question survey that gives respondents the opportunity to describe their expectations for the auto lending market in 2024 as well as which topics they would like to hear addressed during the conference. Survey responses will remain anonymous.

Survey responses will be shared with and discussed by Anthony Capizzano, head of consumer lending at Axos Bank; Nathan Hecht, founder and chief executive of Rodo; and Bruce Newmark, chief adviser at Vroom; during the session ”State of the market: Survey, forecast and discussion.” Panelists will discuss survey responses and provide their outlook on the industry.

Capizzano has experience across retail auto, banking and tech industries. He began selling cars in 1997 and later became general manager and part owner of several auto dealerships before starting his career in finance in 2001 at Onyx Acceptance Corp. Capizzano has been regional relationship manager at Capital One Auto Finance and senior vice president of consumer lending product strategy and innovation at Bank of the West.

Hecht has been in the auto industry since 2015 when he founded Rodo, an online platform that allows consumers to buy new or used vehicles from local dealerships and sell or trade in their vehicles.

Newmark has been in the automotive business since 1974 with experience in consumer auto finance and auto retail. He has served as chief operating officer and president at Westlake Financial Services, president of MarkOne Holdings and chief operating officer at United Auto Credit Corp.
