Chris Mitcham currently serves as the Head of Dealer Commercial Services at Santander Bank N.A. (SC). Previously, he was Head of Corporate Development & Service for Others at Santander Consumer USA. In his new role, he leads a business focused on delivering integrated capital and banking solutions to automotive dealers nationwide, including floorplan financing, syndicated lending, commercial real estate, treasury and merchant services and other commercial banking capabilities.

In his previous role, Mitcham led strategic corporate development efforts including new OEM partnerships, EV strategies, diversified origination opportunities, M&A, and incremental revenue opportunities. Other responsibilities included leading SC’s efforts to source portfolio acquisitions, customized portfolio sales and opportunities to provide a full suite of loan servicing solutions for portfolio owners, other banks and credit unions. With over 20 years of industry experience, Mitcham has led large operational teams and delivered complex credit and capital solutions for auto and consumer credit portfolio companies, including directly managing the acquisition, origination, servicing, and operations of large scale automotive and consumer receivables businesses across the credit spectrum.
