Mr. Onak joined the Bank and FreedomRoad in March 2014 as the Corporate Risk Management Officer.   Mr. Onak has an MBA with over 20 years of credit risk management experience within the Powersports Industry.    Mr. Onak plays a vital role in assisting the executive leadership team with research and analysis that derive strategy and programs for the various OEM relationships that FreedomRoad maintains.

In July 2000, Mr. Onak joined Harley-Davidson Financial Services (“HDFS”) in Chicago, Illinois as a Credit Risk Manager.  At HDFS, he was responsible for the credit risk initiatives regarding loan originations, including risk-based pricing, scorecard management, portfolio and credit loss analysis, auto decision and loss forecasting.

Prior to working for HDFS, Mr. Onak was employed at other financial institutions in the Chicago market specializing in consumer and home equity lending. In this role, Mr. Onak re-engineered automated underwriting criteria and process improvement within the credit cycle.

Mr. Onak holds a degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
