Eric Lyman is the Vice President of Product for Automotive Finance solutions at Black Book. In this role, Lyman leverages his history as the leading expert on residual value forecasting with Black Book’s unsurpassed vehicle and precise valuation data to develop data and analytics solutions to lending institutions in the automotive industry. He has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, National Public Radio, Fox Business and has been frequently quoted in Automotive News, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times and CNN Money.
Lyman boasts 25 years of experience as a thought leader and spokesperson across multiple organizations including Black Book, ALG, JD Power, DealerTrack and TrueCar. He is frequently called upon to provide market outlook guidance to automaker and captive lender executives in the boardroom, investors and ratings agencies in the asset backed securities marketplace in New York City and automotive product planners in design domes across the globe.
Lyman earned his bachelor’s degree from University of California at Santa Barbara. In is free time he enjoys playing in the surf with his family, making music with friends and tending to his backyard veggie garden.
