Ines Beato is an Associate Managing Director and Sector Lead in the Structured Finance Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) Group at Morningstar DBRS, where she is responsible for criteria, ratings, and commentary on ABS transactions across auto loan, auto lease, unsecured consumer loans, and other Consumer ABS asset classes. Prior to Morningstar DBRS, she was a director in the Structured Finance (SF) group at S&P Global Ratings, where she was involved in assigning and maintaining ratings on ABS transactions across asset classes that included auto loan, auto lease, equipment, and unsecured consumer loans. Previously she worked for MBIA Asset Management MBIA Insurance Corp. in the SF-ABS group, where she was responsible for monitoring and for workouts of the consumer ABS portfolio. She holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Fordham University.
