Jayson Amandus

VP of Indirect Lending
BECU

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services and indirect lending, Jayson Amandus currently serves as BECU’s vice president of Indirect Lending. In this capacity, Jayson is focused on leading Washington’s primary auto lender and improving processes to make them simple, seamless, and frictionless for members and dealer partners. Currently, his team manages 380 dealerships across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and South Carolina that drive a $2.3 billion Indirect auto and RV portfolio. 

Prior to BECU, Jayson served as the regional auto relationship management manager at Wells Fargo focused on the Seattle and Portland, Oregon markets. Before that, he worked as an underwriter and dealership relationship manager at AmeriCredit and started his career as a senior underwriter for Ford Motor Credit Company under the Ford College Graduate Program.  

Jayson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) emphasizing in economics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and recently graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School in September 2022.  

Beyond the office, Jayson sits on the board at Northwest Center advocating for the empowerment of the disability community.  He loves spending time with his wife and two children and enjoys skiing, golfing, watching football (specifically the Nebraska Cornhuskers), mountain biking and traveling.
