Octane Lending
In this role, Jon leads the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams and is responsible for leading and growing Octane’s
Powersports and OPE division, while fostering relationships with the company’s over 4,000 dealer partners. Jon joined
Octane in 2017 as the Vice President of Outdoor Power Equipment before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2019.
He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Head of Sales in February 2021, then to Senior Vice President and Head of
Growth in April of 2023. He was named to his current role in 2024.
Jon has led the Sales team and Octane to achieve resounding success; growing its total OEM partners to over 35 and its
dealer network to over 4,000, supporting Octane’s entrances into new markets, and helping the company surpass $1.2B in
originations in 2022 and 2023. Because of Jon’s leadership and strategic approach, Octane grew dealer integrations of its
award-winning e-commerce tool, Octane PrequalTM to over 800 dealerships, while increasing the company’s originations,
applications, and number of dealer partners.
Prior to joining Octane, Jon was the National Sales for another National Lender, and he held various executive roles within
higher education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Missouri. Out of the office, Jon
enjoys off-roading, boating, fishing, and skiing with his family.
