As Sr. Manager Economic and Industry Insights at Cox Automotive, Jonathan Gregory spearheads an analytics team dedicated to solving industry challenges faced by clients and addressing internal business solutions. His group collaborates closely with sales, finance, and data science teams to develop innovative solutions by integrating information from various Cox Automotive brands such as DealerTrack, vAuto, Kelley Blue Book, and Manheim. Jonathan has been instrumental in transforming diverse data sets into valuable industry insights, with a particular focus on electric vehicles and credit availability.
Before joining Cox Automotive, Jonathan served as the senior data scientist at Bridgestone Americas Center of Excellence, where he led a team responsible for developing ‘test and learn’ experiments, creating machine learning algorithms and forecasting models, and presenting analyses across the sales and inventory teams. Prior to that role, he worked in remarketing at Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC), where he developed one of the first inactive reporting dashboards for the department.
Jonathan earned his master’s degree in mathematics from Georgia Southern University and received his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Kennesaw State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, working on DIY projects, being outdoors, and cooking on his smoker.
