Director of Indirect Sales
TDECU

Jud Chamblee is the Director of Indirect Sales at TDECU, where he leads dealer relationship management for the credit union’s Indirect Specialty Lending and Indirect Auto Lending programs. With more than 40 years of experience in Indirect Auto and Power Sports Lending, he brings deep expertise in wholesale business development, dealer partnerships, lending operations, and market leadership.

Jud joined TDECU in December 2009 as Director of Indirect Business Services. In April 2010, he became the Houston–Lake Jackson Market Manager, overseeing operations for Specialty Lending and Indirect Auto Lending across the Greater Houston areas.

From February 2016 through February 2025, Jud served as Director of Wholesale Business Development for Indirect Lending across Texas. In February 2025, he transitioned into his current role as Director of Indirect Sales.

Through relationships with more than 350 Auto, RV, Marine, and Power Sports dealers, TDECU has become one of the largest credit union indirect lenders in Texas. They are headquartered in Houston, Texas, with over $5.4 billion in assets serving over 400,000 members through 35 member centers across the state.

Before joining TDECU, Jud spent 15 years with PRIMUS–Ford Credit, where he held several leadership roles, including Mazda American Credit Gulf Region Brand Manager, PRIMUS Branch Operations Manager, PRIMUS Territory Sales Manager and Wholesale Supervisor. He also served for three years as a Branch Manager with West Corp Financial Services. Jud began his automotive finance career with GMAC, where he spent seven years building the foundation for his long-standing career in lending, dealer relations, and financial services leadership.

Jud earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in 1982.
