Kevin Egolf

Head of Finance

Kevin Egolf is an impact-oriented finance professional that believes that capital, when used appropriately, can be a force for good. This personal belief aligns with Kevin’s role as the Head of Finance at EV Life, a mission-driven financial technology company.

Prior to his work at EV Life, Kevin held several senior impact focused positions. Most recently, he led the capital market efforts at Capital Good Fund, a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution focused on fighting poverty with equitable financial services. He also played key roles in developing the sustainable agriculture space. Kevin launched the first organic farmland real estate investment trust, Iroquois Valley Farmland REIT, building a small niche investment company into a nationally-recognized, awarded-winning enterprise.

 

Before entering the impact space, Kevin spent several years in investment banking and private equity gaining extensive experience in corporate valuation, transaction management and fundraising. He started his career at Bank of America, in the Consumer and Retail Investment Banking. After Bank of America, Kevin spent four years with Castle Harlan, a middle market private equity firm in New York.

 

Kevin is a graduate of Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Computer Science. At Wesleyan University, he was Academic All-American, All-New England, 4-time varsity letter recipient and senior captain in the sport of wrestling. Since retiring from competition, he has held multiple coaching positions and continues to promote the sport of wrestling. Kevin is an exercise enthusiast, loves to cook, is learning to be a good gardener and enjoys tending to his flock of chickens.
