Logan Shedd
Sr. Advisor – Retail Finance Strategy
Kawasaki Motors Retail Finance
Logan Shedd is Senior Advisor, Retail Finance Strategy at Kawasaki Motors Retail Finance (KMRF), the captive finance joint venture between Kawasaki Motors and ITOCHU. In this role, Logan advises on program structure, dealer engagement, and strategic partnerships, helping KMRF deliver competitive and innovative retail finance solutions to Kawasaki’s dealer network and riders. His work has been central to positioning KMRF as a key growth driver for Kawasaki in the powersports industry.
Prior to his role at KMRF, Logan was an executive at Octane, one of the fastest-growing non-captive lenders in the powersports market. Over his tenure, he built and scaled Octane’s sales, credit, and dealer operations functions, led the company’s expansion into new verticals, and helped secure and grow OEM partnerships with leading brands. He was instrumental in designing and implementing dealer-facing platforms, streamlining origination processes, and driving significant year-over-year growth in originations. His leadership contributed to Octane’s evolution into one of the industry’s top independent finance providers.
With a broader background in consumer and business finance across banking, financial services, and fintech, Logan brings deep expertise in origination strategy, credit operations, and dealer finance execution. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning innovative financial products with dealer and OEM needs, always with an eye toward long-term industry growth.
Today, Logan continues to advise KMRF on strategies that strengthen dealer profitability, expand customer access to financing, and reinforce Kawasaki’s leadership in powersports retail.
