In this role, Mark leads Octane’s New Verticals division and is responsible for guiding Octane’s go-to-market strategies, driving growth in Octane’s new markets, and developing product-market fit. He oversees the New Verticals Engineering, New Verticals Product, New Verticals Risk, New Verticals Business Insights and Marketing, and New Verticals Sales teams.
Under Mark’s leadership, Octane has surpassed $4B in originations, partnered with over 35 OEMs and 4,000 dealerships across the US, and entered five new markets: Outdoor Power Equipment, tractors, trailers, RVs, and electric vehicles. Additionally, the company has received numerous awards for its Sales growth, customer service, and industry leadership.
Prior to joining Octane, Mark co-founded multiple successful start-ups, including oDigger and CaptureSEO. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Boston University with a minor in Business Administration. He was named a winner of the Senior Sales Executive of the Year award at the 2024 Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service.
Out of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and their two kids, and coaching his son’s flag football team. He’s an avid skier and surfer, a former sailing instructor, and a three-time winner of Octane’s Fantasy Football League.
