Nat Franklin got his start in powersport lending in 1998 while working at Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS). He worked his way up while at HDFS with assignments in Customer Service, Credit, and the Insurance department. Here is where he learned the importance of building and maintaining relationships with dealer partners.
After 8 years at HDFS, an opportunity came to create a new lender in the Powersports world to help OEMs that did not have a captive finance arm. In the last 17 years with FRF, Nat has built out departments for Credit, Funding, Customer Service and Collections. Together they service over 20 OEMs, 2000 dealers and close to 100,000 active powersports enthusiasts.
His current focus is on a ground up dealer portal and Loan Origination System rebuild. A new state of the art system and dealer/OEM/customer interface, coupled with their commonsense approach to lending, will launch FRF into the next realm just as they start to wrap up their first two decades in business!
When not working Nat is an avid mountain biker, skier, and food enthusiast. He loves to travel and experience new places and cultures. Nat has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa.
