Pat Rinaldo is a highly accomplished executive who was named CIO, Auto Finance and Insurance, at Ally Financial in October 2018. With nearly 30 years of experience in the auto finance, banking, and insurance industries, Pat is responsible for technology delivery for Ally’s industry-leading auto finance franchise, which is a key revenue engine for the company. He has held leadership and technology delivery roles in various areas of the auto finance and insurance industries, including auto servicing, credit operations, collections, and dealer engagement.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Pat is also deeply involved in the technology industry and through non-profit community engagement. He is a board member for RouteOne, a leading provider of digital solutions for the automotive finance industry. Pat’s involvement as a board member underscores his commitment to advancing innovation. He also serves as a member of the Tech United advisory board for the United Way of Southeast Michigan, a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of individuals and families in the region. Through his involvement with Tech United, Pat uses his expertise in technology and finance to help support the United Way’s mission while making critical connections within the community and advocating for funding of human-centric, tech-driven projects.

Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. As a proud Wolverine, Pat is deeply invested in the university and its mission, and he remains an active member of the alumni community. He also supports the state of Michigan and its economy, and he works to promote growth and development in the region. Pat is a lifelong Michigan resident and currently lives in Bloomfield Township, MI with his wife, Amy.
