Prior to Exponential Markets, over his 23+ year career in automotive finance, Paul held various risk management positions at captive finance companies (Risk Manager at Mercedes-Benz Financial and DaimlerChrysler Financial Services), in fleet management (Chief Economist and Head of Asset Risk at LeasePlan), and most recently, at a used vehicle leasing and subscription startup (Chief Risk Officer at Fair Financial). In addition to holding a Series 3 Commodity Futures License, Paul has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois, an M.S. in Applied Economics from Georgia Southern University and an M.B.A. from the Dominican University Graduate School of Business.
