Sean Murphy is a seasoned executive and trusted advisor with a career spanning over two decades in auto finance. Sean is results-driven and has established himself as a conscience leader in seeking innovative technology improvement, risk-based assessed management, and relationship-building within the automotive sector. 

Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at the Earnhardt Auto Group – and Director of No Bull Finance (formerly Mr. Ed Finance) – he leads a team of experienced sales and finance employees. Sean excels as the leader of the longest-running, highest-volume sub-prime finance producer in the industry. In this role, he leverages his strengths to identify and create possible lending opportunities for consumers across the 17 store-group. His responsibilities include managing process flows, mitigating risks, and managing the group’s centralized finance division.  Sean is also instrumental in negotiating contracts with lenders and vendors, overseeing marketing, and implementing strategies to streamline the group’s operational needs. 

Sean’s leadership extends beyond his immediate team, as he actively collaborates with management to resolve issues related to centralized off-site finance and a centralized BDC. He has a proven track record of fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, banking institutions, and vendors, earning him a reputation as a reliable problem-solver and trusted advisor within the automotive industry. 

A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and minors in Genetics and Spanish, Sean is deeply committed to ongoing opportunities for continued learning, personal growth and development.
