Panelists talk dealer, lender relations at PowerSports Finance Summit 2024 

The Auto Finance News team is pleased to announce that leaders from Destination Cycle, Interstate Honda and Onyx Moto will join PowerSports Finance Summit 2024 for a panel discussion on customer experience, which includes a deeper look at what powersport dealers need from lenders.  

The ninth annual PowerSports Finance Summit will return Oct. 9-10 at Wynn Las Vegas. Designed for professionals in the powersports lending and leasing sectors, the summit  explores critical discussions around the latest industry trends, market insights and forward-looking strategies.

The customer experience panel, scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. on the first day of the summit, features Michael Campbell, sales and finance manager at Destination Cycle; Greg Ditus, general manager at Interstate Honda, an Elway powersports dealership; and Jay Le, general manager at Onyx Moto. 

The panel will examine: 

  • Dealers’ preferences and needs for tech in the origination process;    
  • Managing the macroeconomic environment and improving F&I revenue; and  
  • Creating a seamless relationship between dealer and lender. 

Meet the panelists 

The panelists share decades of experience with powersport sales, dealer relations, customer experience and inventory. 

Campbell joined Destination Cycle in 2017, beginning his career in the powersports industry after serving in the U.S. Army, according to his company biography. As the sales and F&I manager, he uses “trial and error” to implement easy, efficient processes at Destination Cycle. 

Ditus’ career spans more than 36 years in the powersports industry and 30 years in customer service, with experience running “every department” at Interstate Honda, according to his company biography. He currently serves as director of inventory and logistics at the Elway dealership, where he’s responsible for tracking sales and major unit inventory control while making it visible to the five Elway powersport stores. 

Le serves as general manager at Onyx Moto, a San Diego-based preowned motorcycle dealership.
