Susan Sheffield is President and CEO of GM Financial, stepping into the role in April 2025. Prior to her current role, Susan served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2018 to 2025. She joined GM Financial in 2001 and has decades of experience in corporate and commercial banking.

Throughout her career, Susan has championed financial literacy education and resources. She is a strong advocate for the business and broader community, previously serving as the Chair of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce alongside leadership roles in a number of other local civic groups. Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
